Cover design

This is a first and rough idea of my book cover.

Rough, folks, for the font is not what I want, and the phots on the background will be artwork more relevant to Gathering of Rain ...and so forth. This is, of course, assuming I have some control.

Let me have your thoughts on the general look and feel...would you pick it up in a bookshop?

Will post more ideas as time goes, and would love any input from you....
